Parts Avatar uses an offshore customer service team in India that is there to mainly obstruct returns. In my case, I received something different than the website description.

The initial online RMA leads you to believe that you are obtaining a return shipping label along with the return authorization. This is a lie. The label doesn't print (they will end up claiming a "technical issue", if you can even get them to acknowledge that a label was supposed to be issued in the first place), so you have to chat in to customer service. Customer service then makes you waste your time being evasive and trying to find excuses to scuttle your return.

Parts Avatar pays them under $2 CDN/hr, and most folks give up after a few hours of interaction (so under $4 CDN cost to Parts Avatar), now Parts Avatar makes a substantial profit by charging illegal 'restocking' fees and pocketing that difference. My advice: don't spend much more than 5 minutes with their customer service reps and go straight to the BBB and either PayPal (better option as initially start as dispute before full blown claim - the nuclear option) or whatever credit card you used for payment. Parts Avatar in Canada monitors BBB, and you will get a quick response through that format. The clowns in India are just there to give you the run-around.

Open a PayPal dispute so you have a club to hang over them; otherwise, they are tempted to be naughty. I finally got my return label doing this. Customer service now wants me to drop my PayPal dispute in order to issue a refund. This is simply a scummy trick to keep the option to con you alive because once you close the PayPal thing, you can't reopen it, and they will then try and shortchange you again.

When not too busy, the customer service staff in India also seem spend time creating a number of fake 5-star reviews (looks like Trustpilot mostly and a few other sites). I found one where they didn't realize that their location was recorded; consequently, there is a 5-star review out there for a 'Canuck Motors' based out of Kolkata, India... ...Oooopsies.

Double order. Plus partial of one order all of a sudden needs address correction.

I'm probably going to be charged for delivery and %15 restock fees. If so then it'll be my last time dealing with Parts Av.

This is a terrible company to buy from.i place my order and was charged and I never got the product. I had to go ask for a refund. The have no business class . I would not recommend them.

This is the worse business I have ever dealt with. I order my parts from there store waited 5 days and still didnt receive any update or confirmation #.

I went back to the store, and the assistant there couldnt gave me an answer as to why I didnt get my parts.

I requested a refund . Undependable.
